“only guru’s grace is ultimate”
लिखतहूँ गुरु कृपा शब्द मेंहि
जाकी वाणी मेरी वाणी सेहि
writing these words under the grace of guru
only his speech is my speech
होय दयाल कृपालु गुरु सोहि
महिमा कही नहीं पावै तोहि
grace- full and mercy-full had been my guru
whose glory can never be comprehended in words
गुरु नारायण नारायण गुरु ही
जप-तप-ध्यान- मम प्रीतम सब ही
कृपा भई जब प्रभु दीन दयाला
नारायण गुरु बन आप कृपाला
guru is lord, lord is guru
jap-tap-dhyan and he is my dearest beloved
when grace-full had been the mercy-full ultimate lord upon me
lord became my guru and graced me
उपजयो देह प्रकाश मोहे भारी
एक रात मेहि सब काज सँवारी
छूटे राग द्वेष सब टंटे
बादल अंधकार केहि छंटे
With guru’s arrival, my body was filled with immense light
just in one night, guru sorted all tasks of life
removed were all troubles, conflicts and all maleficity
dispelled the clouds of all darkness
जा कृपा प्रह्लाद पर होई
एक पुकार दुःख हर लेहु सोई
कृपा विशाल अनंत प्रभु कीन्ही
महावतार रूप भव दुःख हर लीन्ही…

his all sorrows were removed in one plea
